Teacher - Grade K

About the Role

This role involves planning, developing, and implementing an educational program for students while fostering their academic potential. The teacher will also assist in other school programs as assigned and create a supportive learning environment tailored to individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology and integrate the use of technology to provide learning materials and resources.
• Plan, organize and implement an instructional program that guides students to fulfill their academic potential.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by enforcing rules and maintaining discipline.
• Utilize new teaching methods and educational tools for active learning experiences.
• Perform duties supporting the school community, including student counseling and participation in school meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and prepare required reports.

Requirements

• Colorado READ Act designation (can be acquired via specified options).
• Colorado Department of Education Teaching License.
• Bachelor's Degree.
