About the Role

The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing a diverse range of curriculum, activities, and programs. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the classroom while providing guidance and supervision to children.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Department of Human Services state rules and regulations regarding Child Care Centers.
• Provides supervision and instruction of activities for children enrolled in programs and classes.
• Plans and coordinates the weekly curriculum.
• Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of classroom, equipment and supplies.
• Provides guidance to Preschool Activity Aides.
• Communicates with parents regarding their children daily.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet Early Childhood Teacher qualifications per the State of Colorado licensing requirements.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications are required.
• Must complete pre-service trainings in PDIS before working directly with children.
