Educational Assistant I

About the Role

The Educational Assistant I plays a vital role in supporting teachers and students by monitoring classroom activities and assisting with instructional tasks. This position also involves maintaining instructional materials and ensuring a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individual and/or groups of students in various settings to provide a safe learning environment.
• Maintain instructional materials and files to ensure availability and meet requirements.
• Assist teachers with classroom assignments to support the instructional process.
• Assist students with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts and help achieve academic goals.
• Report observations and incidents related to student behavior and safety conditions.
• Perform general clerical tasks to assist teachers with instructional material.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• First Aid & CPR Certification - Colorado
• Ability to lift 5 to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
