Senior Accountant

About the Role

This role involves oversight of capital assets and depreciation, year-end audit preparation, and providing guidance across departments. You will also support revenue tracking and assist in various financial duties, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of capital assets and depreciation
• Year-end audit preparation and auditor support
• Guidance and review of coding, budget availability, and compliance
• Support for revenue tracking and state submissions
• Backup functions for accounts payable and receivable
• Collaboration in preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or related field
• Five years of accounting, finance, or related experience
• Successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database
