About the Role
As a Pretrial Officer, you will coordinate services with the courts, attorneys, and other community services providers. Your role will involve supervising defendants, conducting interviews, and managing a caseload to ensure compliance with court orders.
Responsibilities
- Supervises defendants under Pretrial Release supervision for court compliance.
- Interviews defendants to verify residence and employment for bail settings.
- Secures defendant information from national databases.
- Coordinates electronic monitoring services for defendants.
- Manages a caseload of defendants in various monitoring programs.
- Prepares reports on client performance to submit to courts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social science, or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the criminal justice system is preferred.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
