Part-Time Night Monitor Tech

About the Role

As a Part-Time Night Monitor Tech, you'll play a critical role in patient observation and monitoring. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, documenting EKG patterns, and maintaining telemetry logs.

Responsibilities

• Documents in accordance with department policy and maintain telemetry logbook.
• Observes monitors, recognizing and documenting normal and abnormal EKG patterns.
• Maintains monitor alarms per policy and troubleshoots as needed.
• Ensures effective communication with the healthcare team regarding patient status.
• Participates in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Monitor technician experience or successful completion of training program.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good oral, written, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates a specialized level of knowledge of telemetry monitor practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work flexible hours.
