Kitchen Assistant

About the Role

The Kitchen Assistant develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele. The role involves flexibility in work schedule and willingness to travel to multiple schools based on needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals ensuring compliance with department regulations.
• Help in the proper set up and cleanup of serving areas for timely service to students.
• Serve meals daily while complying with all school food regulations.
• Independently follow menu and recipe instructions.
• Assist in unloading and proper storage of delivered food items.
• Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality of all student information.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent education.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
