Eligibility Case Manager I or II

About the Role

As an Eligibility Case Manager I or II, you will work with clients to establish their eligibility for various assistance programs. You will conduct interviews, process applications, and ensure that clients understand their rights and responsibilities regarding assistance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with applicants to determine eligibility for various programs.
• Gather and review information regarding financial criteria relevant to eligibility.
• Inform clients about their eligibility status and related benefits.
• Approve or deny applications and communicate results to clients in a clear manner.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions within the Colorado Benefit Management System (CBMS).
• Perform data entry and use computer systems for case processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Two years full-time public contact experience.
• Experience with eligibility determination for public assistance programs preferred.
• Familiarity with Colorado Benefit Management System (CBMS) is advantageous.
• Certification in CBMS required within three months of hire.
• Background check including fingerprinting is mandatory.
