Educational Assistant IV - Early Childhood Ed - Pioneer Floater

About the Role

The Educational Assistant IV will be assisting in instruction and the medical needs of preschool-age special education students. The position may require mid-day travel based on student needs, and responsibilities include providing support both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom set up/clean up, lesson plans and materials preparation under the direction of the preschool teacher and/or licensed/certified provider
• Assist in documentation of student learning and growth
• Provide assistance to students in non-classroom settings
• Document health-related services in the Medicaid documentation system
• Assist with materials preparation and implementation of interventions

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• CPR Certification - American Heart Association
• First Aid Certification - American Heart Association
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
