Educational Assistant IV - Early Childhood Ed

About the Role

The Educational Assistant IV - Early Childhood Ed supports instructional and health needs of special education students. This role requires collaboration with classroom teachers and involves assisting in daily functions and personal care needs for preschool-age children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documentation of student learning and growth.
• Support classroom set up/clean up, lesson plans and materials preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student needs and abilities.
• Communicate and interact appropriately with students, families, and school personnel.
• Complete and maintain up-to-date records of all required professional development trainings.
• Provide appropriate supervision of students throughout the day.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• CPR - American Heart Association certification.
• First Aid - American Heart Association certification.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong detail orientation and time management skills.
