About the Role

The Educational Assistant I supports teachers in an educational setting, ensuring a positive learning environment for students. This role involves assisting with clerical tasks, administering minor first aid, and mediating student conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Administer minor first aid for the purpose of meeting immediate health care needs.
• Mediate student conflicts to ensure a safe educational environment.
• Report observations and incidents relating to specific students for the purpose of communicating information to appropriate personnel.
• Perform general clerical tasks to assist teachers with instructional material.
• Monitor individual and/or groups of students in various settings.

Requirements

• First Aid & CPR Certification - Colorado.
• High School or Equivalent education.
