About the Role
The Economic Crime/At-Risk Prosecutor will work directly with the Organized Crime Unit to prosecute financial and white-collar crimes. Applicants with skills in communication, accounting procedures, and data analysis are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and litigate cases in the District Court for the 23rd Judicial District
- Provide law enforcement agencies with legal advice, including rules of evidence and criminal procedure
- Perform quality legal research
- Draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and pleadings
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
- Experience as an attorney at law, including experience prosecuting or defending criminal cases in court
- Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court
- Preferred two years of experience as a prosecutor
- Jury-trial experience in federal, municipal, or state court
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
