About
Now open. Nova Glow Studio held its Grand Opening Saturday, October 10, free and open to everyone, at The Juniper on Mainstreet in downtown Parker, the same building as Marvin's Place and Poulette Bakeshop, with Cask & Trotter also on the way. Classes started Monday, October 12 on a limited soft-opening schedule; as of October 22 the booking calendar fills out from Monday, October 26 with early-morning classes Monday through Thursday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and weekend mornings.
Who's behind it: owner Dani Saunders, an attorney, mom, and wife. In her words: “After years of pouring into my legal career, and into everyone else, I found myself completely depleted. I needed something that would strengthen my body, calm my nervous system, and leave me feeling replenished.” She describes Nova Glow as “built by a woman, with women in mind,” and the studio says it welcomes everyone, men included. The name comes from the Latin nova, “new light.”
Four ways to use the studio
- Nova (reformer Pilates): 10 Balanced Body Bravo reformers lined up along the windows; Nova Foundations is the beginner-paced class, Nova Flow the second reformer class.
- Glow (infrared & red light mat Pilates): mat classes in a room comfortably heated to 90–95°F with ceiling-mounted infrared panels, plus a red light panel at every mat station. Glow Sculpt is the full-body sculpting class; Glow Flow is the beginner-friendly one.
- Light Up (solo red light): a self-serve, 20-minute red light session on the full-body panels, no class required.
- Heat Up (solo infrared sauna): a private, 40-minute session in the studio's Sunlighten mPulse Aspire, one person per session.
Classes run 50 minutes. Instructors (Nicole Owens, Kari Gavle, Laura Fielding, Noha Eljalafi, Jennifer Ramirez, and Misty Anderson) train a minimum of 500 hours. To start, there's an intro offer of two weeks of unlimited classes for $75 (no free passes); membership, class-pack and drop-in pricing is on the studio's site. Memberships are month to month (30 days' notice to cancel, freezable up to 2 months a year).
The Edit, the studio's shop, sells a curated selection of wellness brands alongside Nova Glow's own branded merch, and is open to non-members.
