Castle Pines Summer Concert Series 2026

Part of the Summer of Fun: Douglas County 2026 guide.
About the Series
The Castle Pines Summer Concert Series is a free, family-friendly outdoor music series co-presented by the City of Castle Pines, the Castle Pines North Metro District, and the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce. It runs three Sundays across June, July, and August at Elk Ridge Park — a neighborhood park at 7005 Mira Vista Ln in Castle Pines.
There is no admission charge, no ticketing app to download, and no wristband line. You show up, find a patch of grass, spread a blanket, and listen to live music for two hours. It is one of the cleanest summer-evening setups in Douglas County.
The 2026 lineup covers an 80s tribute on June 28, a local band set on July 26, and the summer's closing night with an Eagles tribute on August 16. Note that the August show starts one hour earlier than the other two (5 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.).

The opener is That Eighties Band, described by the organizers as Colorado's premier 80s tribute band. If you came of age anywhere near a cassette deck, radio, or MTV in the 1980s, this is your show. Arrive a few minutes before 6 p.m. and claim your patch of grass before the park fills in. June 28 also has the Castle Rock Rotary Ducky Derby earlier in the day if you want to make a full Sunday of Douglas County events.
Show 2 — Narrow Gauge
- Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026
- Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Venue: Elk Ridge Park, 7005 Mira Vista Ln, Castle Pines, CO 80108
- Cost: Free

The mid-series show on July 26 features Narrow Gauge. July is the heart of Colorado summer — expect warm evenings and a full park. The show runs alongside the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo (July 24 – August 2 in Castle Rock), so the last week of July is stacked for Douglas County event-goers. The Castle Pines concert is free; the Fair has its own daily admission.
Show 3 — The Long Run (Eagles Tribute)
- Date: Sunday, August 16, 2026
- Time: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (starts one hour earlier)
- Venue: Elk Ridge Park, 7005 Mira Vista Ln, Castle Pines, CO 80108
- Cost: Free
- City description: “Fan favorite playing all of our favorites from The Eagles” — City of Castle Pines
- City source: castlepinesco.gov
The closing show is The Long Run, an Eagles tribute that the City of Castle Pines calls a fan favorite. The 5 p.m. start is an hour earlier than the other two shows — set a reminder so you don't show up at 6 and find the crowd already settled in. August evenings in Colorado can cool off quickly after sunset, so a light layer alongside your blanket is worth packing.
Venue & Parking
- Park: Elk Ridge Park
- Address: 7005 Mira Vista Ln, Castle Pines, CO 80108
- Parking: On-site parking at the park. Arrive a few minutes early on concert nights for the best spots.
