Parks and Trails
Philip S. Miller Park The crown jewel of Castle Rock parks. This 312-acre park features:
- Challenge Hill โ 200+ step staircase for fitness buffs (you'll see people running it repeatedly)
- Fishing ponds (stocked with trout)

- Adventure Playground (massive climbing structure)

Pro Tip: Challenge Hill is brutal on your first attempt. Start with one round, not three. The locals doing laps at 6 AM have been at it for years.
The Rock Park and Trail Hike to Castle Rock's namesake butte right from downtown. The Rock Trail is a 1.2-mile loop with modest elevation gain and views of town. It's the signature Castle Rock experience.
