The Highlands Ranch Community Association is putting together its Halloween House Decorating Map again: a map of the houses around the Ranch that went all out, so you know which streets are worth the walk (or the slow drive with the windows down).
How It Works
Fill out the form on HRCA's Halloween House Decorating page and upload a photo of your house. HRCA says the map will be posted Oct. 8, and new submissions get added through Oct. 30. The map link goes live on that same HRCA page, and HRCA's events calendar has the program listed from Oct. 1.
One rule from HRCA worth knowing before you haul the giant skeleton out of the garage: decorations may go up 30 days before the holiday and have to come down within 30 days after.
The Details
- Map posted: Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026
- Submissions added through: Friday, Oct. 30
- How to enter: HRCA's online form, with a photo of your decorated house

More Maps Around the County
Parker is doing the same thing this year. Its Halloween Home Decoration Map replaced the old judged contest and takes pins from the 80134 and 80138 ZIP codes through Oct. 31. Every map we've found is listed on our Halloween events guide.
HRCA's bigger Halloween nights are the Haunted Forest in the Backcountry Wilderness Area (Oct. 23 and 24), with the no-scare-actors Fright Lite and the daytime Haunted Forest Fall Fest on Oct. 24, plus the Haunted Hayrides at Stockton's Plum Creek Stables the same two nights. On Halloween night itself, the Last Stop at the Highlands Ranch Mansion runs 6:30 to 9 p.m. Everything else is on the Highlands Ranch events calendar.
