The three-floor sports bar off I-25 in Castle Rock is getting a new occupant.
Border Burger Sports Bar is taking over 810 New Memphis Ct — the building that housed Trifecta Sports Bar & Grill until it closed. Google now lists Border Burger Sports Bar at that address as operational, and the business has its own website at borderburgersportsbar.com, where it describes itself in four words: "Burgers, Beer, and Big Games."
What's confirmed
Trifecta is done. Google lists Trifecta Sports Bar & Grill as permanently closed, with a 4.3 rating from 147 reviews at the end of its run.
There's a quirk worth knowing if you go looking: both of Trifecta's websites are still live, and both still say "Open Every Day at 11AM" with a full weekly schedule of trivia, karaoke and pool leagues. That's leftover marketing for a closed business, not a sign it's still operating.
Google is also treating the new bar as a separate business rather than a renamed Trifecta — it created a new listing instead of changing the old one, which is generally what happens when an operator changes rather than a business rebranding itself.
What isn't confirmed
A pre-grand-opening flyer circulating in Castle Rock Facebook groups advertises a Tuesday, Sept. 29 opening, with hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends. A post alongside it describes the kitchen as mostly gluten-free.
None of that appears on the venue's own website, which is currently a single page with a contact form and no address, hours or menu. Google hasn't published hours for the new listing yet either. So the date and hours are what the flyer advertises, not something the business has confirmed publicly — worth a call before you drive out for opening night.
The name has also been reported inconsistently around town. Google and the bar's own website both say Border Burger Sports Bar. "Border Burger Bar" is a different, long-running restaurant at 934 Manitou Ave in Manitou Springs, which is its own separate business. The two share a name; we have not confirmed a formal connection.
Where it is
810 New Memphis Ct sits just off I-25 near the Outlets at Castle Rock, with a free lot. The building is unusual for the area — three floors, built for game day, with room upstairs that Trifecta used for pool tables and private events.
