About the Role

This position requires a dedicated individual to officiate various sports leagues, primarily focusing on flag football. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and fairness during games while enforcing the rules of play.

Responsibilities

• Officiates assigned sporting events with fairness and respect to players and spectators.
• Maintains a safe environment during league play and promotes positive sportsmanship.
• Judges performances in competitions and awards points or imposes penalties.
• Conducts inspections of sporting equipment and field conditions for compliance.
• Verifies game scores with the onsite Sports Supervisor.
• Resolves claims of rule infractions or complaints by participants.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience as a player, coach, instructor, or official is required.
• Concussion recognition training is required within 90 days of hire.
