Recreation Coordinator II-Sports

About the Role

Under general supervision, this role involves developing programs, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance and program quality. The coordinator will also engage with the community to evaluate needs and deliver positive participant experiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement sports programming for youth and adults.
• Evaluate sports programs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise staff, including hiring and training processes.
• Manage budgets and monitor program revenues and expenditures.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote sports events.
• Provide customer service and address community inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in parks and recreation management or related field.
• One year of experience in sports programming and event management.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Valid Driver's License from Colorado required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
