Police Officer Trainee (FT)

About the Role

The Parker Police Department is seeking passionate individuals to participate in our sponsored Police Recruit program. This program provides the opportunity to attend a 21-week training academy while being compensated and then transition to a full-time Police Officer position.

Responsibilities

• Attend a P.O.S.T Academy selected by the Parker Police Department.
• Communicate with the Police Department throughout the academy.
• Participate in scheduled training sessions and assessments.
• Complete required documentation and training milestones.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old by completion of the P.O.S.T Academy.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; formal education in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice preferred.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License with a minimum of two years driving history.
