Monitor Tech Full-Time Days

About the Role

As a Monitor Technician, you will be part of a team dedicated to patient care by monitoring EKG patterns and noting any abnormalities. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and support of departmental quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Document in accordance with department policy and maintain telemetry logbook.
• Observe monitors, recognizing and documenting normal and abnormal EKG patterns.
• Maintain monitor alarms per policy and troubleshoot monitors as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.

Requirements

• Monitor technician experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training program.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Completion of basic arrhythmias identification course in orientation.
• Customer service skills.
