About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will demonstrate knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages. You will administer respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient responses to ensure their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Documents all pertinent data on the patient’s medical record.
• Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators, including airway management.
• Performs arterial punctures to obtain blood samples for gas analysis.
• Assesses patient needs and tolerance for treatment.
• Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors.

Requirements

• State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
• 1+ years experience as a respiratory therapist (preferred).
