Superintendent - Heavy Civil Infrastructure - Central US Region

About the Role

As a Superintendent, you will be exposed to a variety of field activities to develop your understanding of construction supervision. You will have the opportunity to travel the country, building complex projects that have a profound impact on communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman.
• Liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance of construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties.
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ work experience in the construction industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
