About the Role
This role involves researching and processing complex fraudulent Debit and Credit Card Disputes following regulations. The representative collaborates with team members to ensure timely and accurate dispute resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Take inbound calls to assist members with Card Dispute issues.
- Make outbound calls to gather information and documentation for disputes.
- Submit completed Fraud/Other Card Dispute forms to the card processor accurately.
- Review chargeback and arbitration documents in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison with Card Processor vendors regarding resolutions.
- Maintain general ledgers associated with debit and credit card adjustments.
Requirements
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
- Understanding of Regulation E, Regulation Z, and Card Network rules.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations regarding fraud.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Two years of experience in a similar position at a financial institution.
