Registered Nurse Emergency Room

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Working in collaboration with medical providers, you will provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing services to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly for effective pain management.
• Document the administration of care in the patient's medical record in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate their needs.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication side effects.
• Prepare patients for self-management and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• 1-2 years of acute care specialty nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Colorado or multistate license.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or to be obtained within 30 days).
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course to be completed within 4 months of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
