Mammography Technologist

About the Role

This position is an onsite role where the technologist conducts mammography procedures. It involves patient education and monitoring, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders, educates patients on procedures.
• Assists the physician in performing interventional procedures.
• Prepares equipment and selects appropriate exposure factors.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist and certified in Mammography.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
