About the Role
This full-time medical assistant role is part of UCHealth's Accelerated Staffing Development Program serving Lone Tree and south metro Denver outpatient clinics, including primary care and specialty care. It offers a clinical ladder model for growth.
Responsibilities
- Assists with performing patient care under the direction of a provider or nurse
- Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection
- Monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions and documents care
- Maintains equipment, medical supplies and examination areas
- Performs administrative duties including scheduling, data entry and patient registration
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- MA certification or registration, or 3 years of MA experience or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- BLS with card in-hand before start date
