Electrical Engineer - Industrial

About the Role

Kiewit is seeking Electrical Engineers to design electrical systems for various industrial projects, ensuring solutions meet the demands of demanding environments. Engineers will have early ownership in projects and mentor junior staff while working on significant projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs for large industrial facilities
• Evaluate and apply engineering techniques and criteria for design
• Formulate technical specifications and coordinate design efforts
• Review electrical requirements for new facilities
• Perform ETAP analysis and simulation
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain understanding of design standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for industrial facilities
• Experience with ETAP simulation
• Knowledge of SmartPlant or similar design software
• PE preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience with FEED, D/B, and EPC designs
