About the Role

This position involves conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and related abilities. You will create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, contributing to holistic patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and other related abilities.
  • Create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide education to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Model proficiency through precepting those new to UCHealth.
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
