RN Pre/Post Special Procedures/Surgery

About the Role

This position involves working directly in patient care in the Perioperative and PACU settings. The RN will utilize a multidisciplinary approach to ensure exceptional patient outcomes while supporting a culture of safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to care.
• Models proficiency through precepting new healthcare workers.
• Welcomes new knowledge in a clinical environment.
• Contributes to safety and quality measures at the point of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• ACLS and PALS required within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
