RN Pre/Post Special Procedures/Surgery

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in Pre/Post Special Procedures, you will provide top of scope practice in direct patient care while utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. This role emphasizes collaboration to achieve exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Pre/Post surgical areas.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess and monitor patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Participate in the education and precepting of new staff members.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols during patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 6 months of RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
