Pharmacy Technician Inpatient I

About the Role

In this role, you will provide pharmacy support utilizing evidence-based protocols to promote patient safety. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent care outcomes while managing medication inventory and contributing to a safe clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) for medication availability.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging.
• Conduct regular audits of medication inventory to remove expired items.
• Provide top-of-scope pharmacy support following best practices.
• Model proficiency by mentoring new staff and welcoming new knowledge.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician certification from the Colorado Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification by the PTCB or equivalent.
