About the Role

The Advanced Care Partner (ACP) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse. This role involves assisting with vital signs, personal care, and keeping the care area organized.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the delegation of a nurse
• Assists patients with personal care and daily living activities
• Gathers vital signs and performs sterile dressing changes
• Models proficiency by precepting new hires
• Contributes to a safe and quality care environment
• Works effectively with specialized team members

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program
• Proof of completion of Med/Surg I or program equivalent
