About the Role

This position involves leading a dynamic team in the Mother Baby unit, providing top of scope patient care utilizing the nursing process. The Charge Nurse models proficiency and supports new healthcare staff, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing nursing process
• Prioritizes wellness and evidence-based practice
• Models proficiency through coaching and precepting
• Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams for exceptional outcomes
• Supports clinical education and training for competency validation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse
• 1 year of nursing experience
• EFM within 1 year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• BLS certification.
