About the Role

This posting is for a Part-Time, On-site position at the PW Service Center. Seasonal operations include asphalt repair, crack sealing, bridge painting, and roadside maintenance.

Responsibilities

Asphalt repair (path and pothole)
Crack Sealing
Bridge Painting
Roadside maintenance (mowing, trimming, trash pick-up, washout repair)
Assist Streets Maintenance Technicians with day-to-day operations
Learn and operate various tools such as leaf blowers, chainsaws, mowers, string trimmers, construction hand tools like shovels, rakes, lutes, and tampers
Performs other duties assigned

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Ability to convey information in written, verbal, and electronic form
Ability to follow written and oral directions
Mechanical aptitude; baseline knowledge of mechanical knowledge used; ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled and some skilled tasks in relation to street operations and maintenance

Compensation

Hourly Range: $19.02 USDto$25.67 USD
