Lead Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities

• Supports scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when appropriate.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge in MQSA requirements & breast imaging tracking. [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]
• 3+ years of experience [Preferred]
• Experience with QC, ACR, scheduling, coordinating, inventory, and protocol management. [Preferred]
• Registered Mammographer RT(M)(ARRT) [Required]
