OR Perioperative Support Specialist

About the Role

As an OR Perioperative Support Specialist, you will clean operating rooms and assist with patient care preparation. This role is crucial to maintaining efficiency and safety in surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Cleans operating room suites or procedure rooms between cases.
• Performs timely delivery and pickup of supplies, records, x-rays, orders, and equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of lounge and changing rooms in collaboration with Environmental Services.
• Cleans storage areas and stocks supplies such as scrub brushes, masks, shoe covers, hats, cleaning supplies, and garbage bags.
• Assists in patient care preparation, including completing pre-op checklists.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Previous experience in hospital setting and surgical services (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
