Educational Assistant IV - Early Childhood Ed

About the Role

This position involves supporting the instruction and health needs of preschool-age special education students. The role may also require mid-day travel based on student need and includes responsibilities for maintaining a clean and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom setup and cleanup under the direction of the preschool teacher
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student needs
• Complete up-to-date records of professional development
• Assist students with daily functions and life skills instruction
• Provide supervision of students throughout the day
• Assist in documentation of student learning and growth

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders
• Strong detail orientation, time management, and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to observe and model all District policies
