Educational Assistant IV - Early Childhood Ed

About the Role

The Educational Assistant IV will assist in instruction, medical and health needs of special education students while providing clerical support. The role requires flexibility as the location may change based on student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students with toileting, diapering, feeding and related personal needs.
• Communicate and interact appropriately with students, families, and school personnel.
• Document health-related services in the designated Medicaid documentation system as assigned.
• Administer and document prescription medication to students and perform medical procedures as delegated.
• Assist in the documentation of student learning and growth, including IEP goal progress monitoring.
• Conduct proper cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom in accordance with local and health regulations.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• CPR and First Aid certification (American Heart Association)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Strong detail orientation and time management skills.
