2L Spring Intern 2027 (District Attorney's Office)

About the Role

The 2L internship program offers law students a unique opportunity to conduct meaningful work on real criminal cases, working alongside experienced prosecutors. Interns will become involved in all aspects of criminal prosecution from the investigative stage through trial, including cases involving serious crimes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on legal issues
• Assist in drafting legal pleadings
• Observe courtroom proceedings
• Review new felony filings for potential evidentiary challenges
• Prepare exhibits for trial

Requirements

• Currently attending law school
• Completed first year of law school
• Ability to work part-time during the Fall and Spring semesters
