Gilly’s Pumpkin Patch is a family-run fall festival on one of Castle Rock’s original homesteads, built in 1889, at 1433 Lake Gulch Road, off Plum Creek Parkway past the Douglas County Fairgrounds. It is only open eight days a year: Fridays and Saturdays across four weekends in late September and early October.
What’s There:
- 🎃 Pick Out Your Pumpkin, including specialty pumpkins
- 🐑 Sheep, bunnies (25 cents for food), ducks, baby chicks and chickens
- 🌽 Corinne’s Corn Pit, Marie’s Maze and Clara’s Kiddie Corral
- 🚂 The Troo-Troo Train, Gilly’s Playground, an obstacle course and a giant slide
