Oktoberfest 2026: Castle Rock, Parker, Highlands Ranch & Beyond
Every Oktoberfest actually happening in Douglas County this fall — Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, and Sterling Ranch — checked against each organizer's own calendar, not last year's flyers. Mini Highland cows, dachshund races, and a stein hoist at literally every one of them.

The 2026 lineup
The Oktoberfest season has wrapped for this year. Dates for next fall start landing in August — they’ll appear here (and in the newsletter) as organizers confirm them.
Get there early in Castle Rock: the Downtown Merchants Association is selling a 2026 commemorative Oktoberfest stein starting at 12:30pm on Sept 19 — half an hour before the festival opens. The stein is $40 and includes one beer token. The 2026 design has now been revealed on the organizer’s channels. And one more may join the calendar: 105 West Brewing has announced its own Oktoberfest at the brewery on Saturday, Sept 26 — details to come. (No stein pre-sale exists for Castle Rock as of Sept 14; day-of at 12:30pm at Wilcox Square is the only announced way to get one.)
Every date above was re-verified on the organizer’s own site on September 2, 2026, and this page was updated September 14 with the Castle Rock stein price. Details drift — check the linked event page before you go.
Fair warning: Saturday, September 26 is a six-way pileup
HRCA’s Oktoberfest, Sterling Ranch’s Oktoberfest, the Douglas County Fall Festival at Sandstone Ranch, Parker Fall Fest, Harvest Day at CALF’s Lowell Ranch, and the Colorado Highland Games all land on the same day — plus the HRCA Oktoberfest 5K that morning. Pick your lane early; you are not doing all six.
What happened to the Parker Oktoberfest?
If you’re searching for the big Parker Oktoberfest at O’Brien Park — the one that ran for 14 years under the Council of Arts, Science & Culture — it hasn’t come back. Its last edition was September 17–19, 2021, and it is listed as cancelled. The Town’s fall event at O’Brien Park is now Parker Fall Fest on September 26, with a beer garden but a different identity.
The nice twist: Parker’s Oktoberfest tradition didn’t die, it changed hands. Lone Tree Brewing’s Parker taproom occupies the old Barnett & Son Brewing space at 18425 Pony Express Dr — and Barnett’s ran its own Oktoberfest right there, stein hoists and all, before Lone Tree Brewing acquired the brewery in 2024. The September 5 Oktoberfest at that address is the same party under a new flag.
