A new King Soopers is staffing up on Prospector Lane in Parker, and the store's own hiring flyer lists a grand opening date: Dec. 2, 2026.
The store, Kroger's internal Store 175, sits at 6755 Prospector Lane, Parker, CO 80134, near The Pinery, which is why some neighbors are calling it the Pinery King Soopers. A hiring flyer circulating on Nextdoor and shared in the Living in Parker, CO Facebook group reads: "GRAND OPENING DECEMBER 2ND 2026, 6755 PROSPECTOR LANE, PARKER, CO 80134."
King Soopers and parent company Kroger haven't published their own press release confirming that date. But an outside events calendar already has a brand meet-and-greet booked at that address for Dec. 2, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., which lines up with the flyer's timeline for a morning opening.
Pay and Open Roles
The hiring flyer lists pay by role:
- APC Clerk: $19.40-$26.35/hr
- Courtesy Clerk: $18.50-$19.65/hr
- Rx Tech: $22.35-$26.75/hr
Roles posted include front end, pickup, produce, deli, bakery, meat/seafood, general merchandise/home, and grocery day and overnight positions, plus cashier, cake decorator, sanitation and customer service.

A Town of Parker hiring event for the store was also held at 17761 Cottonwood Dr., the existing Cottonwood Drive King Soopers location, before the new store opens.
What We Don't Know Yet
Store hours, which departments open first, and whether the Dec. 2 date could still shift haven't been confirmed by King Soopers directly. We'll update this page if Kroger or King Soopers posts its own confirmation.
