High Note Regional Park is coming to the Lyric neighborhood in Lone Tree, and Phase 1 includes something you don't usually see in a public park: a beer garden.

Approved, Funded, and Under Construction
The project has cleared both votes:
- Planning Commission vote: April 14, 2026 — approved
- City Council vote: April 21, 2026 — approved
The City of Lone Tree and South Suburban Park and Recreation District broke ground on Phase 1 on April 29, 2026. Phase 1 is funded by roughly $31 million: $13 million from South Suburban Park and Recreation District, $9 million from the City of Lone Tree, $7.5 million from Douglas County, $1 million from the Southeast Public Improvement Metropolitan District, and $580,000 from Great Outdoors Colorado. Why It Matters
This is a different kind of park for Douglas County. The combination of playgrounds, a dog park, and a beer garden in one space creates an amenity that appeals to families, dog owners, and adults looking for a casual outdoor hangout — all at the same location.
High Note Regional Park will eventually be 80 acres, making it the largest park in Lone Tree upon completion. Phase 1 establishes the core amenities, with future phases adding more green space and facilities.
