ClueClock Escape & Gameshow, the escape-room business and live game show at 7437 Village Square Dr in Castle Pines, has permanently closed.

Owners Chris and Joanna Walters announced the closure on Instagram on Oct. 9, 2026:

"For three years, you've been a part of our story, and we're grateful for every escape room booking, Google review, and kind word. With heavy hearts, we're sharing that we have closed our doors. Running this business has been one of the greatest honors of our lives, and we're proud of what we built together with you."

The post said the business is "in a season of transition" and didn't give a specific reason for the closure. They're keeping their email, [email protected], open for a few more days for questions. Google's listing now shows the business as permanently closed, and ClueClock's own website is down.

What ClueClock was

Four private escape rooms — Denver Bank Heist, 10 Days In A Mad House, Blood Money and Alien Escape — had been running at the Village Square Dr location for three years. In June 2026 the Walterses added a second half to the business: a live game show in its own room, with a host, a stage and four games (Spin To Win, Name That Price, Friendly Feud and Jackpot Falls) for groups of 8 to 30. We visited the game show in September, not long before the closure.

Where to go instead

In their closing post, the owners recommended three other escape-room businesses: Wreck Room Escape Game, Conundrum Escape Rooms, and Mystic Escape Rooms.
