Castle Rock's Planning Commission has two public hearings on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026: a 112-home neighborhood in Crystal Valley Ranch, and RidgeView Town Center, a proposed commercial annexation on North Ridge Road.
If you were looking for a Sept. 24 recap, there isn't one. That meeting was canceled, and Oct. 8 is the next regular meeting.

The Planning Commission reviews each application, takes public comment and sends a recommendation to Town Council. It doesn't make the final call.
Crystal Valley Ranch: 112 Single-Family Homes
The proposed Site Development Plan covers about 21 acres northwest of the Crystal Valley Parkway and Snow Goose Road intersection.
- 112 single-family detached homes
- 4.5 acres of public and private open space, including a 0.9-acre tract that serves as a buffer to the existing neighborhood east of the property
- Two access points, both from Crystal Valley Parkway
The fourth and final neighborhood meeting on this plan is Monday, Oct. 5, in Room C at the Philip & Jerry Miller Library. The plan also needs a Town Council public hearing after Planning Commission.

RidgeView Town Center: Annexation and Commercial Zoning
This one asks the Town to annex about 10.54 acres at 895 N. Ridge Road and zone it as a Planned Development for business and commercial use.
- Allowed: office, retail, restaurants, and medical and dental clinics
- No residential development is proposed
- Prohibited: auto service, fueling stations, car washes, indoor or outdoor storage, animal daycare, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities
- Up to 54,000 square feet of commercial space
- At least 6,000 square feet of full-service restaurant is required
- 25-foot maximum building height, per the Town's Skyline/Ridgeline Protection Regulations
- About 21 percent of the site zoned as open space
There's a neighborhood meeting on it Monday, Sept. 28, 6pm to 7pm, at Cantril School, 312 Cantril Street. After Planning Commission, RidgeView heads to a Town Council public hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at 6pm at Town Hall.
