About the Role

This role involves anticipating the needs of the surgeon during procedures and ensuring the operating room is prepared with all necessary supplies and equipment. The Surgical Tech will maintain high standards of quality and assist in achieving cost savings and containment while supporting good relationships with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon during procedures.
• Assembles necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
• Maintains high standards and quality in cost savings and containment.
• Responds to complaints in a timely manner supporting customer and employee satisfaction.
• Maintains good relationships with physicians, management, and other departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (Required)
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (Required)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) (Required)
• 1+ years experience preferred
