About the Role
As a Lead Patient Care Tech, you’ll be an integral part of the nursing team, delivering compassionate care that impacts patients’ lives every day. You’ll provide hands-on patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and help guide and mentor new and experienced patient care tech staff.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Checking vital signs and collecting specimens
- Preparing for procedures and monitoring telemetry
- Documenting patient care and communicating updates
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Training new team members
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- Certified Nursing Assistant registered with DORA
- High School Graduate / GED
- One (1) or more years of experience in healthcare
