About the Role

In this role, you will implement appropriate nutrition interventions and monitor their outcomes. You will also ensure compliance with regulations and maintain departmental performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the Nutrition Care Process using anthropometric measures and medical data.
  • Implement nutrition interventions to correct nutrition-related problems.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes of nutrition interventions.
  • Assist with staffing needs and create work schedules.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of current research and evidence-based guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Required).
  • 2+ years of position-related experience (Required).
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license (Required).
  • Experience in an acute care health setting (Required).
  • Master's degree in a related field (Preferred).
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) (Preferred).
