Phlebotomist I - Primary Care

About the Role

As a Phlebotomist I, you will collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques and ensure they are properly labeled and processed. This role requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Performs additional tasks as necessary or assigned.
• Conducts clerical functions and lab processing.
• Assists with point of care testing and EKG.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• BLS or CPR card must be in-hand before start date.
• No prior experience required.
